- Project goal

Colors and typography
The color palette comes directly from Saplings' logo — each of the six PECS phases has its own distinct color from this palette.
The typography — Montserrat and Poppins — matches the fonts Saplings already uses in their marketing materials. Staying consistent with the client's brand was a priority from page one.
Illustration and sample pages
I drew the cover illustration myself in Procreate — I wanted the e-book to feel warm and hand-drawn, closer to the subject of working with children than corporate vector art.

Digital accessibility
The whole e-book was exported following digital accessibility guidelines: images and links have alternative text, and decorative elements are marked as decorative so screen readers skip them.
